- 16th Ljubljana City Marathon 2011
Elektroncek d.d. supported 16th Ljubljana marathon.
The penultimate weekend in October saw Ljubljana full to bursting with the athletic spirit of the 16th Ljubljana Marathon.
This year’s Ljubljana marathon also saw record numbers of entrants, with a total of 22,082 registered from 45 countries, up 5,000 on last year’s total. We are also proud on our employees who were part of this increasingly popular autumn event.

- International basketball tournament in wheelchairs
Elektroncek d.d. was the sponsor of 31. Pogačnikov memorial, which is a basketball event on international level.

Elektroncek d.d. is the main sponsor of slovenian Football club NK Interblock, which is doing great this season.

Elektronček d.d. is sponsor of football club BRAVO1 INTERBLOCK since its establishment. Football team is very enthusiastic and successful and Elektroncek d.d. is very proud on their achievements.

Elektroncek d.d. supports inline hockey club Srake, which has 34 members and includes some of our employees. They are competing in the Slovenian amateur league.

Women rally competition through the dessert of Marocco, 7th to 18th of October 2010. One of the goals is also to raise funds for the children in need.

Elektroncek d.d. sponsored their traditional basketball tournament "Mitnice 2009"
- 14th Ljubljana City Marathon 2009
Ljubljana Marathon, Half marathon and Recreational run 2009 took place on Sunday October 25, 2009 in the Ljubljana City centre and surrounding areas of the town. Elektroncek d.d. sponsored a team of runners from Kongo Hotel & Casino d.d.: Ms Vesna Benkič, Mr Jure Lozej, Mr Željko Moičevič, Mr Valentin Skok, Mr Andraž Poje, Mr Milan Kovačevič. They completed the Half marathon of 21 km within 2 hours. We are proud of our colleagues from our subsidiary company Kongo who represented the Elektroncek Group of Companies at this increasingly popular autumn event. The Ljubljana Marathon 2009 attracted a record number of participants which was close to 20 000.

- Kayak club Soške elektrarne
Kajak klub Soške elektrarne has been striving for decades to develop and popularize kayaking. It is the biggest wild water club in and includes more than 100 competitors. Elektroncek d.d. contributed funds for the organization of kayaking competitions "Pokal Challenge", "European challenge Solkan 2008", and others.
2007
- Athletic Club Domžale - Domen Zupan
Athletic Club Domžale was founded on 12th October 1987. In the Club many great athletes are training, who are successful in many fields, winning on national and international level.
Elektroncek d.d. decided to run with the best so sponsorship got young Domen Zupan, mountain runner. Domen so far won all three national mountain running cups and he also participated in international mountain running cup WMRA Youth Team Challenge, which took place in Torino. He won 15h place, best among Slovene athletes.
- Volleyball Club Domžale
Volleyball Club Domžale was founded in 2004, with intention to join and train all best players in Domžale surroundings in indoor, as well as beach volleyball. Elektroncek d.d. is sponsoring two young players, Ana Oblak and Barbara Kristan, current Slovenian cup champions and state vice-champions. Ana and Barbara are taking part on more than 10 tournaments in Slovenia, Croatia, Austria and Italy.

Sport and Cultural Association Celešnk was founded on 1st of October 2004. Association strives for sports and cultural activities and in that way contributes to development of those activities. Association organizes recreational activities, competitions, expeditions, lectures, cultural events... In a good sports spirit Elektroncek d.d. decided to sponsor and help the Association in its development.

Elektroncek d.d. sponsored Gorenjska Cup in Kickboxing - Light Contact.
- “EDA”- toughest rally in the world, Tomaž Merhar
Part of this toughest rally in the world was this year also Interblock, who sponsored one of two Slovene contestants, Tomo Merhar. Tomo, racing on motorcycle, proudly presented Interblock. Decision to sponsor such a great event comes from mutual essence of Interblock and Dakar - beyond the borders of victory, the real essence is the challenge. A competitor battles both with the others but also with himself, in a context where humility is just as important as going beyond oneself.
